Woodgrange Medical Practice is a well organised, efficient Practice, with a list size of 16000 and growing. We are based in a spacious converted bank, which has had several extensions to provide a comfortable and modern clinical environment. There are excellent transport links and we are close to the Olympic Park and Westfield shopping Centre.

Job Overview

We are looking for a salaried GP to work in a dynamic East London practice for 4 sessions. We are an innovative and forward-looking practice, always looking to improve the way we deliver care. As a result we have been recipients of several national awards such as the RCGP’s best clinical innovation and Pulse magazine's diabetic clinical team of the year, runner-up.

We have a strong ethos of teaching and training and you will be welcomed into our large Primary Care team of 13 Doctors, GPwSI in Dermatology/surgery, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA’s, Diabetic Nurse Specialist, 3 Pharmacists and 16,000 patients and you will instantly become a valued member of the team.

Every clinical and administrative member of staff is encouraged to develop professionally. The doctors are supported and encouraged to specialise, each has their own interest e.g. Substance Misuse, Mental Health, Dermatology, Minor surgery, Paediatrics and Women’s health.

Although a large organisation the whole team really is a happy family. We respect, listen to and value every member of staff, as each has an important role to play in the organisation.

Once a month, we have a whole Practice lunch where we can all get together. Educational meetings occur every week with lectures provided by in house or external speakers. We also have weekly clinical meetings to discuss hot topics, difficult cases and notices.

The remuneration package is attractive and includes indemnity fees, 6 weeks annual leave and one-week study leave pro rata.
