Maternity FAQ
I need to register my baby, what should I do?
Patients should visit our Practice as soon as possible
They should bring with them the baby’s birth certificate and the baby’s hospital discharge summary, in order for the child to be registered.
Do you offer a 6 week postnatal check?
Yes we do.
The surgery will call the baby’s parents with an appointment date for your postnatal check. This usually happens 6-9 weeks after the birth of your baby. In the unlikely event that you do not hear from us, please visit the surgery. For more information about postnatal checks, please visit this NHS Choices information page
