Are you looking after a loved one who cannot do without your help?

Then you are a carer!

The reason they need your help can be anything from illness to frailty. How old you are does not change whether you are a carer or not.

Being a carer is no easy task and there are many ways we can support you. Let us know if you are a carer and we can guide you in any way that you need. Even if you don't need support now, we can help you prepare for any future eventualities by recognising in your record your important role as a carer. Let us know at your next appointment or at your loved one's next appointment.

If you are younger than 18, it can be hard to balance looking after a loved one with school and just being you. If you ever wish to talk or need advice on how to get support, let us know and we can talk about what can be provided.

If you don't want to talk to us that is fine but we are always here to support. In the meantime, You can find resources below from how to get a carer's assessment and resources for support or advice. If you are a young carer we have provided links on some amazing services out there especially for you as well
